About The Borrowed Earth Project

At COP26 and beyond, we aim to demystify climate change and to suggest new, practical ways in which committed young people can make a real difference - after COP26 and beyond. We have 3 core aims:

  1. Inform ~ We aim to inform young people on how they can ensure action is reinforced by the best available climate science; and show new ways to use laws, engineering, finance, and education to influence change.

  2. Engage ~ Young people in particular have been taking the strain of climate action and will bear the brunt of the effects of climate change. We want to deliver new ideas to make their commitment and enthusiasm more effective.  They deserve support.

  3. Inspire ~ We will share the inspirational stories of people who have made a difference to local and international environmental efforts, from Greta Thunberg, Rachel Carson, Sir David Attenborough, Wangari Maathai  - to others such as Stella Bowles, Phyllis Omido and Levi D.

We are a team of environmental lawyers, renewable engineers, and international development practitioners based in the UK, US & Pakistan. Find out more about us here.
